Meet the THREE15 team

To get a better grasp on why THREE15 is so special, we asked Mandy Moseley, owner, and Alex Freeman, manager of THREE15’s Homewood location, what this studio and the team mean to them.

Mandy’s dream was to open her own fitness studio

For years, while teaching exercise classes and getting a degree in nutrition, Mandy harbored a dream of opening her own fitness studio. Along the way, she loved teaching a class she created that combined rhythm-based cycling, high/low cardio and strength work.

“There wasn’t anything like it anywhere. Yes, there were cycling, barre, and strength-focused studios, but no one was trying to put it all together and especially not in one room.

Selfishly, I wanted to do all the things that I enjoyed and fortunately, there were a lot of people who felt the same way.”

Taking these concepts and morphing them into one class, THREE15 was born.

For Alex, there is a friend on every bike at THREE15

In 2020, Alex was working for Lululemon when the staff had a “team sweat” at THREE15—taught by Mandy herself!

“She [Mandy] asked if any of the males would be interested in instructing and I have never hopped on board to something so fast in my entire life.”

Alex Freeman, Manager, THREE15 Homewood

Wondering what a class with Alex looks like? Here’s what he had to say:

“A typical class with me involves walking into the studio and partying for 45-55 minutes. We have fun, work hard and get stronger together. If you’re leaving class without a smile on your face, I haven’t done my job.

Metaphors to describe my class have been: Vegas residency performance, stand-up comedy show, “the big game” halftime performance, Ariana Grande-impersonator performance, etc.”

“There are a million places you can get your workout in, but THREE15 is genuinely the first that ever made me excited to come back for more. THREE15 is where I fell in love with fitness.”
