After eight years in Birmingham, local pet supply store Sheppard’s Pet Supply will be closing its doors.

Founded by Will Sheppard in October 2015, Sheppard’s Pet Supply is a locally-owned and -operated pet supply store located in Avondale at 4410 4th Ave S A, next to Sanctum Tattoos and Comics. Sheppard’s stocks a wide variety of high-quality foods for dogs and cats, including products from:

• FROMM (my cat’s favorite)
• Orijen
• Acana
• Answers
• Natural Balance
• Taste of the Wild
• Blue Buffalo
• Nutrisource
• Zignature
• Fussie Cat

In addition to food, Sheppard’s has tons of amazing toys and other products for your furry friends.

Sadly, after eight years in Birmingham, Sheppard’s Pet Supply will be closing. Will Sheppard announced the upcoming closure on his Facebook page yesterday.

Will plans to continue operating Sheppard’s Pet Supply through March. Until then, plan a visit to stock up on quality products for your four-legged friends—and be sure to give beloved shop cats Declan and Gizzard a head scratch.
