This Birmingham pediatrician sees generations of families
Kendall Griffith is the second of three generations of her family who have been patients at Pediatrics East.
As a child, her father was a patient at Pediatrics East. When Kendall was born, he wanted her to receive the same level of care he’d grown up with, so she became a patient of Dr. Phillip Harmon, the youngest doctor at the practice at the time.
She continued to see Dr. Harmon until she was 21 years old, even driving back from college for her appointments. Her Pediatrics East story didn’t end there.
“A few years later, Kendall applied to be a medical assistant in our office. Fortunately, she became my medical assistant. Then, as Kendall became a mother, I’ve been blessed enough to be able to take care of her boys as well.”

Pediatrics East felt like home
Kendall said that the staff at Pediatrics East treated her like family and helped her get to where she is today. She couldn’t imagine sending her children anywhere else.
“Dr. Harmon has been an important part of three generations of my family. We absolutely love him.
I can’t say enough good things about him, this practice and what they’ve done for me, my family and my career. It’s so special how much I’ve been able to grow within my career here.”

Dr. Phillip Harmon has been a physician at Pediatrics East for 39 years, where he has clearly made an impact on patients like Kendall and so many others.
