Alabaster spokesperson and Public Relations Specialist Neal Wagner provided Bham Now with a statement and details about the popular eatery.

“We’re so excited to learn a new location of Big Whiskey’s will be coming to the former O’Charley’s building in the South Promenade this summer after the building undergoes renovations over the next few months. That’s a great location, and we’re happy to see another great restaurant opening its doors in Alabaster.”

The former O’Charley’s is located at 285 S Colonial Dr, Alabaster, AL 35007.

Founded in Downtown Springfield, Missouri in 2006, Big Whiskey’s features a wide variety of menu items including several signature items like the famous Chicken Ranch Alfredo, The Honey Stung Burger, Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos and The Brunch Melt.

The popular restaurant also has an extensive drink menu with 120+ whiskeys available, including rare and allocated bottles.

3rd Big Whiskey’s

This will be Big Whiskey’s third location in the Birmingham area. The first area restaurant opened in 2020 at Hoover’s Stadium Trace. In March 2023, the company announced it was building a second location in the Tattersall Park development near Highway 280.
