What to expect at the 76® Birmingham Bowl

Held each year since 2006, the 76® Birmingham Bowl is a post-season bowl game pitting two college teams head-to-head in a match you won’t want to miss.

This year, attendees will see Alabama’s own 2-time Sun Belt Champ Troy University Trojan take on the Duke University Blue Devils, who had one of the biggest victories this season in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a win over Clemson.

Friday, December 22

The Bud Light Fan Fest Pep Rally kicks off at 1PM on December 22nd. (BJCC)

Festivities kick off on Friday, December 22 with the Bud Light Fan Fest Pep Rally. Free and open to the public, the Bud Light Fan Fest Pep Rally will be held from 1—5PM in Uptown and will feature:

  • Live music at the Schweppes Music Stage from 1—4PM
  • Interactive games
  • A Kids Zone
  • Food and beverage options for all ages
  • And more

At 4PM, participating head coaches, team captains, cheerleaders, dance teams, mascots and marching bands from both teams will celebrate with a pre-game pep rally on the main stage. Finally, the event concludes with an impressive fireworks show over Uptown!

Game day — Saturday, December 23

The game day celebration kicks off at 8AM with the Bud Light Fan Fest Tailgate. Held in Uptown, the tailgate is the official pre-game tailgate area for the game and will feature:

  • Live music from Man’s Best Friend at the Schweppes Music Stage from 8:30—11AM
  • Interactive games
  • A Kids Zone
  • Food and beverage options for all ages
  • And more!

Although the Bud Light Fan Fest Tailgate is free and open to the public, you’ll need a ticket to attend the game. Kickoff is at 11AM, and you won’t want to miss it!
