Claimed as the “better way to network,” Linq specializes in digital business cards, sales technology, customer relationship management and more.

2. Dryft Coffee

Founded by Praveena Sundarraj, Dryft Coffee is a Birmingham-based and woman-owned coffee roaster and mobile coffee bar. 

Praveena is currently a Seed Stage finalist with Alabama Launchpad and is competing for $50,000 to accelerate the growth of Dryft Coffee.

3. Acclinate

Relocating in Birmingham in December 2020, Acclinate is digital health company confronting the problems posed by the underrepresentation of people of color in clinical research.

Acclinate pairs community engagement with data analysis to assist biopharmaceutical companies and healthcare researchers in enhancing the diversity of their clinical trials and other health initiatives.

According to a release from the Alabama Department of Commerce, Acclinate plans to expand its operation in Birmingham that will create 25 new full-time jobs.

The CEO and Co-founder gave a statement about what this expansion means for Birmingham and the future of their company.

“As we expand our presence in Birmingham, Acclinate remains committed to our mission of health equity through inclusive research. This expansion marks another step toward achieving that mission and elevating Birmingham’s health tech ecosystem.”
