1. Cruz Ortiz: Shifting Between the Suns
- What: Visit the newest exhibit at Scott Miller Projects presented by artist Cruz Oritz. You’ll view the stunning portraiture and figuration throughout Ortiz’s work as it explores snapshots of cosmic phenomenon.

2. 21st annual Día de los Muertos festival
- What: Honor this Mexican holiday that celebrates the souls of deceased relatives.

3. Christmas Village Festival
- What: Christmas Village Festival brings families and friends together to help ring in the holiday season. Featuring 720 booths with vendors from across the US, you’ll find a variety of gifts from arts and crafts to clothing, jewelry and food.

4. Walking to Remember
- What: Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama is hosting their annual Walking to Remember event this Saturday, November 4 featuring carnival-themed foods and activities.

8. Out of the Darkness Birmingham Walk
- What: Send a message of hope by taking part in the Out of the Darkness Birmingham Walk hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Funds raised will provide care and support for those who’ve lost loved ones to suicide, education programs, advocacy and scientific research that will help us learn more about how to save lives from this leading cause of death.
