If you’re anything like me, you can’t resist a drive around some of the beautiful neighborhoods that make the Magic City so… well, magic. Read on for a few of our favorite fall views right now.

1. Oak Mountain State Park

You can’t go wrong with hiking or driving in Oak Mountain State Park at any time of the year. We can’t resist the beautiful, tall trees of red, yellow and orange. See it for yourself this fall.

2. Mountain Brook, Overbrook Road

When my friends and I want to take a drive and blast our music, Overbrook Road is always the destination. Winding through Mountain Brook all the way to Highway 280, it’s the perfect road to take in the changing colors.

3. Downtown Birmingham, Railroad Park

Downtown Birmingham trees are slowly but surely changing colors, and I’ll be first on the list to take a look around the gorgeous fall foliage. If you want to brave the chilly weather, park the car and take a stroll around Railroad Park.

4. Bluff Park, Shades Crest Road

I live near Shades Crest Road and am memorized by the views on my way home every day. Round up your friends and bask in this fall beauty! You won’t regret it.

5. Highland Park

Highland Park is one of Birmingham’s coolest neighborhoods, in my opinion. Drive around and see some historic homes, local business and the variety of red and yellow leaves. This area is walkable, too, in case you want to spend a little longer taking in the view.
