Walking to Remember

Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, a local non-profit offering programs and services to low-income families caring for a loved on at home. Our annual Walking to Remember event is one of our two major fundraisers. This year’s theme is “Step Right Up and Walk” and will feature a variety of carnival themed foods and activities. It is held in our office parking lot – walk as many or as few laps around our office building as you are able. The fun begins at 9 am with registration – Visit with our guest Mini Pony, ask Punky the Clown to twist up a funky balloon hat, enjoy Cava Coffee, savor a carnival Hot Dog, stand with hand over heart as Amanda Tapley (Miss Alabama 2008) sings our national anthem. Your $50 donation will include a walk t-shirt.
