Voguing, drag, singing, comedy, dancing, costumes or just posing—enter the talent show to perform in front of a packed club, win fabulous prizes and become King/Queen of the ball. Expect DJs, Performers, Talent Show, & Costume Contest!

5. Birmingham Zoo Hoot and Howls event

Looking for no tricks and just treats? Bring the family down to the Hoot and Howls daytime Halloween festival at the Birmingham Zoo. Wear your costumes and trick-or-treat or join a dance party worthy of the name—Monster Mash.

Don’t forget to take a ride on the legendary Red Diamond Express Train and see what spooky surprises await you.

8. Birmingham Flea Market

The best vintage market in the southeast is happening at Cahaba Brewing Company. This isn’t what you would call a “Halloween” themed event however, this is a great place to find yourself a one-of-a-kind costume or a great deal on some extraordinary oddities that may fill your house with spirit, spooky or otherwise, all year long.

9. Homewood fall festival and witch ride

The Homewood fall festival is set to be a fun Halloween affair for the whole family. Featuring games, rides, food trucks and most importantly…CANDY! This festival will also feature the Homewood witches ride.

For 11 years, these witches have partnered up with the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB for Homewood Witches Ride. They are the first and largest witches’ ride in Birmingham.
