Learn more about the mission of Symphony30
While Symphony30 Picnic is a well-known and favorite event in the community, it’s not as well-known how important this event is to the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. ASO is more than a group of musicians who play in beautiful concert halls; they are a caring staff and a group of musicians with a mission to fulfill in the community.
ASO invests an immense amount of time and resources in educational concerts, in-school tutorials and classroom demonstrations because of the positive impact music has on education. On top of the educational investment, the ASO musicians regularly perform in local hospitals for patients, families and staff.
The work of ASO goes much farther than what is seen in the concert halls made possible with fund-raising partnerships like Symphony30. Come out to the Symphony 30Picnic on September 24, and help Symphony30 continue its support for this wonderful organization.
Sponsors of the event include: Brasfield & Gorrie, Truckworx, Bham Now, New Horizon, Oakworth Capital Bank, Brandino Brass, Hufham Orthodontics, Red Diamond, United Johnson Brothers and Otey’s.
