This October through December, check out the list of inspiring artists performing in the ASC’s elegant performing arts center for an unforgettable, immersive experience.

1. Keb’ Mo’ — October 8

Kevin Moore was exposed to gospel music at a young age. As a skilled artist, he writes much of his own material and applies acoustic, electric and slide guitar skills to jazz and rock-oriented bands. Come enjoy his old-fashioned country-blues featuring touches of soul and folksy storytelling.

2. Eric Benét — October 15

Eric Benét is known for his dedication to crafting authentic music that engages the soul. He has released multiple albums and has a career in film. Enjoy a night of fun while listening to his contemporary rhythm and blues at Jemison Concert Hall.

3. Trombone Shorty — October 29

Trombone Shorty got his start and nickname earlier than most. At the age of four, he made his first appearance at Jazz Fest performing with Bo Diddley. When he reached the age of six, he was leading his own brass band. Experience Trombone Shorty’s wonderful music and watch as the natural-born showman delights the audience.

4. Renée Fleming — November 5

Renée Fleming is one of the most acclaimed opera singers singers of our time. She has performed on the stages of the world’s greatest opera houses and concert halls. Honored with five Grammy Awards and the US National Medal of Arts, she has sung for prestigious occasions such as the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and the Super Bowl. Come see her perform here in Birmingham.

5. Tower of Power — November 10

Get up and moving with the Tower of Power show. Together since the late 1960s, the band is full of funk and soul. Whether they’re performing classic hits like What Is Hip? or This Time It’s Real or more recent songs, the band, led by sax player and musical director Emilio Castillo and superb vocalist Mike Jerel, are a guaranteed good time.

6. The O’Jays — December 3

After 60+ years of electrifying people all over the world, the mighty, legendary, R&B/Soul kings The O’Jays are set to embark on their final tour. Featuring original members Eddie Levert Sr and Walter Williams Sr, who have been singing together since they were kids. Come cheer them on for one final night of thrilling music in The Magic City.

Throughout their career The O’Jays have achieved 10 Gold albums, 9 Platinum albums and 10 #1 hits.
