Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, the largest international swim school franchise is officially coming to The Magic City. This new Hoover location, set to open mid-September, will mark this company’s first Alabama location. Keep reading for more info.

Yahoo! reported that even though Birmingham is known for its proximity to water, the community lacks a dedicated swim school that offers year-round lessons. Until now!
Aqua-Tots Swim Schools exists to offer a solution that caters to the needs of active families in the area, particularly those with young children.
Owner Dave Dunlap spoke to Yahoo! about bringing the mission of Aqua-Tots to Birmingham.

As a Birmingham native and parent myself, water safety has always been a priority for me. Aqua-Tots Hoover will provide a new level of accessibility for parents to champion water safety and education in a safe and fun environment for their children.”

About the facility
Aqua-Tots Hoover will feature a 6,000-square-foot indoor swim facility, providing Jefferson and Shelby counties families with year-round access to high-quality swim lessons.

- Parent & Tot swim classes for tots four to 30 months old
- Small group lessons (4:1 ratio)
- Semi-private lessons (2:1 ratio)
- Private lessons (1:1 ratio)
