Liquor license secured

Earlier this week, the Birmingham City Council approved a resolution transferring Taj India’s liquor license from its old site on Highland Ave to the new location on Clairmont Avenue owned by Farris Properties.

Known for its buffet and wide variety of traditional Indian dishes, the relocation of the beloved restaurant was inevitable after the  City Council voted in January to rezone Highland Plaza making way for a  272-apartment complex- limited retail development.
