3. Culinary Dropout | The Summit

Culinary Dropout is opening its first Alabama location at The Summit early next year in the former Macaroni Grill space. Culinary Dropout is known for serving “genuine food and drink for everyone.” According to their website, they host live music, local bands, games and other exciting events.

4. Whiskey Foxtrot Burger Shoppe | Homewood

Whiskey Foxtrot Burger Dive, the locally-owned popular burger joint in Hoover, has opened a 2nd location at the former Homewood Gourmet space at Merchants Walk in Homewood. The menu is very similar to the one in Hoover and includes a couple of menu items that will be exclusively available at the Homewood location.

5. Ippin Ramen | Hoover

Ippin Ramen is serving up all kinds of Chinese specialties, ramen and bubble tea. The restaurant, which was formerly called Golden City 2, has been completed renovated and rebranded to feature all new menu items and ambiance. 6. Salt Clothing Company | Meadowbrook
