Peterbrooke Chocolatier is bringing European chocolate making to Birmingham. The Cahaba Heights store is the company’s second location in Alabama, the first being in Tuscaloosa

Sarah Tharani, a former University of Alabama student who fell in love with the chocolate shop during her time at college, facilitated the development of the Birmingham storefront.

“While I was in college, Peterbrooke was the neighborhood chocolatier and that’s where you went when you wanted chocolate, if you had any events coming up, if you needed a gift or a little sweet treat,” Tharani told the Vestavia Voice.

More about the menu

Peterbrooke Chocolatier sells chocolate everything, from popcorn to pretzels to oreos.

The menu includes:

Additionally, the store will offer gelato, which is true to Peterbrooke’s European style, as it is authentically made in Italy.

The new Peterbrooke Chocolatier follows other recent developments in Cahaba Heights. With all of this recent growth, the Vestavia Hills neighborhood is definitely on the come up.
