1. Emmy Squared Pizza | The Summit

Emmy Squared Pizza is getting ready for its grand opening on June 28 at The Summit. The Detroit-style pizza and burger restaurant has everything on their mouthwatering menu from 19 different kinds of pizzas to fries with zia pimento cheese, scallions, bacon and ranch. This will be the first Emmy Squared location to make its way into Alabama.

2. The Normal Brand | The Summit

The Normal Brand is a versatile men’s and women’s clothing store for everyday wear. The chain clothing store its first store in Alabama at The Summit on June 24.

3. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice | Vestavia

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is making its way to Vestavia. The Orlando-based establishment has over 90 locations across the country, and serves over 40 flavors of fresh Italian ice as well as their signature gelati and soft serve. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice opened another location this June in Chelsea.

4. Condado Tacos | Cahaba Village

Condado Tacos, located off Highway 280, is getting ready to open its doors. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, the restaurant serves as a build-your-own-taco concept with 40+ locations nationwide. I can’t wait to try their firecracker taco with rainbow chard queso.

5. Fuku Ramen | Hoover

Fuku Ramen is coming soon to Hoover. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a refreshing bubble tea with a bowl of your favorite ramen. According to a post in Facebook group Friends of Hwy 280, the shop will be located next to Chicken Salad Chick. Stay tuned for more opening details.

6. Birmingham Nutrition | West Homewood

Birmingham Nutrition, located across from Patriot Park, is open according to the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ). The menu will have everything from refreshing loaded teas and beauty drinks to protein iced coffee and more.

7. Kyuramen | Inverness Plaza

A new ramen restaurant is moving to the former Newk’s location in Inverness Plaza, according to a post in Facebook group Friends of Hwy 280. Kyuramen serves insanely delicious ramen. The soup and noodles are prepared by ramen masters!
