Traveling overseas for the pieces

Owner Barbara Cooney traveled far and wide for this collection. She flew to Vietnam and sourced the items for the outdoor collection herself. She decided to investigate importing when pricing on all furnishings spiked post Covid.

“I was looking for ways to continue to offer our customers beautiful things at reasonable prices. Outdoor furniture seems to be a space that is somewhat underserved.”

Barbara was hands-on during the entire process and got to see exactly how the furniture was constructed. She explained she found pieces in her collection inside factories run by families for generations. The pieces Barbara chose to be featured in Spiffy’s collection are not only visually appealing, but were crafted to the highest quality at an affordable price.

“There are extremely high end, high priced offerings and big box offerings for considerably less. We want to be the alternative to that top tier pricing and we think we hit a home run. The product we are receiving has exceeded our expectations.“
