2. Valleydale Farmers Market

Located off Valleydale Road, this local market is your go-to for the best produce including heirloom tomatoes, peaches, strawberries and more. They also recently introduced a new egg roll vendor, featuring pork, chicken and vegetarian rolls.

3. Andy’s Farm Market

Tables full of the best Alabama produce like ripe tomatoes, Chilton County peaches and juicy watermelons are some of what you can find at this market. This gem has some of the best veggies, fruits and more. The best part? This one is open nearly every day.

4. Hueytown Harvest

Every Wednesday, Hueytown Harvest offers some of the best produce, artisan treats and handcrafted goods. This Wednesday, June 21, they will be hosting Aww Shucks, a local business that serves up some of the best fire-roasted corn around– including Garlic Herb Parmesan, Mexican Street Corn, Creamy Lemon Pepper, Buffalo Ranch and more.

5. Bessemer Farmers Market

Fresh eggs, plants, produce, handmade chow chow– that’s just some of what you’ll find at this local market. Visit them Saturday mornings and find everything you need to create the freshest meals.

6. The MarketPlace at Lee Branch

Located at Lee Branch near Oak Mountain, this rain or shine market offers all kinds of homemade treats, art, jewelry, produce and grass-fed meats. They sell the best selection of seasonal produce, such as beets, cucumbers, herbs, strawberries and cabbage.

7. Burnette Farms Market & Café

At this unique family-owned farmers market, you can get anything from fresh produce to plants to homemade ice cream. It now features a café, where guests can get cooked meat and veggies from the market.

8. Montevallo Farmers Market

Held Mondays in the parking lot behind First Baptist Church on the corner of Main and Middle Street, this market is a great place to find handmade goods, local produce and more.

9. Memorial Park Farmers Market

Support local vendors at this pop-up market at Memorial Park. Join them on July 8 and August 12 for a market filled with great produce, handmade goods and more.
