Virginia Samford Theatre announces 2023-2024 season under new Executive Director

Yesterday evening, the Virginia Samford Theatre (VST) released their 2023-2024 lineup under new Executive Director, Philip Mann. The theme is none other than a season of “History, Family and Magic.” It will officially begin on September 14, 2023 with “A Grand Night for Singing” which features popular hits from renowned composers like Rodgers and Hammerstein. Here’s what Mann had to say about the release:

“We’re delighted we’re going to be announcing our new 2023-2024 season this evening here at the theatre. It’s going to be a season of history, family and magic as you can see.”

Executive Director Philip Mann attended Birmingham Southern College and The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a major in Theater and Philosophy. He has been a performer, director and producer at VST. Mann plans to expand programs aimed to younger audiences and diverse generations.
