A new comic book store, Top of the World Art and Collectibles, is now open in Alabaster. With Kami-con this weekend this store is a great place to visit and fine-tune your comic knowledge. Keep reading to learn more.

Sense of community

Melissa Taylor and David Gardner are co-owners of Top of the World Art and Collectibles and are excited to be in Alabaster due to its strong community. Here is what they told Shelby County Reporter:

“We had a lot of requests for stores. We found this little spot here across from the hospital and the new Dunkin’ and Jersey Mikes and there’s a sense of community here.”

The store will also hold community events such as game nights and opportunities for kids to come out and paint comic book figures.
