Absolutely stunning. (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

It’s all in the name—Classic Wine Company is classy and full of wines at all price points. For more than 30 years, this Homewood spot has been a staple to find wines to sip in store and at home.

Be on the lookout for their Valentine’s Day dinner menu—there will be six courses of food and Italian wine parings for $100 a person.

4. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Can you say YUM? (Flemings)

Sophisticated dining is better when there’s wine to sip. Elegance is eating beef carpaccio and a truffle-poached lobster with a glass of pinot noir.

Enjoy surf and turf from February 10-14 with your loved one as you share a 35oz prime Tomahawk, lobster tail scampi and crab-stuffed shrimp. This date night is $230—make reservations online.

5. Freddy’s Wine Bar

Freddy’s Wine Bar in Highland Park is the go-to spot for my gal pals and me—chances are you’ll find us chatting over glasses of wine and a charcuterie board. I’m an absolute sucker for their gnocchi mac and cheese with prosciutto paired with a glass of pinot grigio. If you’re a fan, get excited about the new location opening in Homewood. Summer can’t come fast enough!

Looking to start off your Valentine’s evening with a drink? Stop by Freddy’s from 4-6PM for $2 off a glass of select wine.
