Zoës Kitchen in Mountain Brook’s Crestline Village has closed.

Located near Otey’s Tavern and Urban Cookhouse at 225 Country Club Park, the location was the 3rd Zoës to close in 2022.

The other two locations were in Homewood and Brook Highland.

Others Replaced by Cava

The two previous sites were replaced by Cava restaurants, the chain that bought Zoës in 2018. Presently, there is no information about whether the Mountain Brook eatery will become a Cava.

A Birmingham original, Zoës was established by the Cassimus family in 1995. At the time of the 2018 acquisition by Cava, there were 327 Zoës franchises across 24 states.

With the closure of the Mountain Brook location there remains only two Alabama Zoës Kitchens, one in downtown Birmingham at 1819 5th Ave, N. and Montgomery.
