Birmingham, it’s time to climb to new heights and chow down on scrumptious bites. There are so many businesses coming to town and we’re sharing five spots we can’t wait to visit. Keep reading to learn all about these new businesses.

1. A-Train Station | West End

The long-awaited brick-and-mortar location of this delicious Birmingham food truck has almost about to open its doors and my stomach is grumbling at the thought. A-Train Station is filling us up with mouth-watering dishes like mango habanero wings and loaded fries with bacon, ranch and cheese.

Owner Careese Agee is excited about the positive impact this new tasty restaurant will have on the West End neighborhood:

“Our main goal is to bring quality food to this area. It’s really a food desert, there’s nothing here. I’d like to thank the community, first of all. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. Our plan is to bring good food to them and give back to the community. We’re looking forward to it!”

2. Electric Lash Lounge | Hwy 280

If you’re like me, you’ve probably tried just about every lash serum and volumizing mascara out there. I’ve got the solution for those long, luscious lashes you’ve been dreaming of: Electric Lash Lounge’s new location in Greystone Center. There will be lash extension, shaping and style options at the studio, plus other glamorous features, including:

  • A comfy waiting area with complimentary refreshments
  • Selfie station with an adorable backdrop for a perfect Instagram post
  • Three private suites each with a cozy lash bed, Tempurpedic pillows and heated blankets
  • Training room that will host private and group lash certification courses

The official opening of this new location is on Tuesday, October 25. I think this is a sign to treat yourself to a makeover and relaxing day.

To be honest, I’ve been known to wipe out on bikes. However, this new mountain bike park seems so fun that I’m excited to try it out once it officially opens. Right next to Red Mountain Park along Lakeshore Parkway from Venice Road to Portofino Drive, RideBHM offers a range of uphill and downhill trails and features for novice to expert mountain bikers.

“We are thrilled to bring this concept to life at an incredible location in partnership with Red Mountain Park. We are collaborating with some of the best trail builders in the Southeast to create a family-friendly environment that brings people together around a common pursuit and puts Alabama on the map in the mountain biking world.”

Emile Hughes, CEO, RideBHM

Currently, only RideBHM annual members can ride. Day passes will be available starting in November or December—follow RideBHM on Instagram to stay in the know.
