Spooky season is here and Birmingham has tons of Halloween-inspired events to get you in the mood. From a trunk-or-treat to a witches’ ball, this guide has something for all gals and ghouls.
1. Hocus Pocus Trivia
What: Hocus Pocus fan? Prove it during this Dave & Buster’s trivia event. While testing your Sanderson Sister knowledge, enjoy games, drinks + prizes. Psst! Questions from Hocus Pocus 2 will also be included during the trivia portion of the event. More info.

2. Overnight Adventure with The Chamber of Secrets
What: An all-night family adventure awaits you during this Harry Potter-inspired event at McWane Science Center. Attend to: spend the night in Bham’s beloved science museum, explore the magic of science at McWane’s must-see exhibits, watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in IMAX, nosh on pizza + snacks and enjoy a special Science of Magic program with the McWane team. 3. Harry Potter Day
What: Head to McWane Science Center for a day devoted to all things Harry Potter. There will be wizardly activities + the chance to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in IMAX. More info.

4. Hoots and Howls
What: Each Saturday and Sunday in October, visit The Birmingham Zoo for their annual Halloween event, Hoots & Howls. Wear your costume, trick-or-treat through the candy trail, join the Monster Mash dance party, meet amazing animals and much more.

5. Trick or Trot 5K

10. Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner, Ghost Hunter
