Birmingham-based XpertDox closes $1.5M in funding from Arizona-based private equity firm

On September 21, XpertDox—a Birmingham-based software company specializing in autonomous medical coding powered by artificial intelligence—announced the closing of $1.5 million in their latest round of funding, highlighted by investment from the leadership of TN3, LLC, an Arizona based Private Equity Capital firm.

Founded by two physicians in 2015 and headquartered in Birmingham, XpertDox, LLC. is a software company that provides products and services utilizing smart technology to revolutionize healthcare administration and patient experiences.

Currently, XpertDox offers three products:

  • XpertCoding, an autonomous coding solution that utilizes artificial intelligence to autonomously code medical claims.

Closing $1.5M from TN3, LLC

The recent success of XpertDox’s XpertCoding solution has caught eyes across the country, particularly from TN3, LLC—an Arizona-based private equity firm.

TN3’s investment in XpertDox represents the firm’s first investment in a company headquartered in the state of Alabama.
