Alabama Goods, the popular Alabama-made specialty store, is expanding its operations and opening a new Hoover store in the summer of 2023.

According to the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ), Alabama Goods is expanding its operations center in West Homewood so it can handle online and corporate sales.

“Our website and corporate orders are fulfilled at our operations center.” Sherry Hartley, owner of Alabama Goods, told Bham Now. “We’ve experienced  increased demand, so we needed to double our space.”

The new space will come just in time for the upcoming gift-giving season.

Opening in Hoover – Summer 2023

In addition to the operations expansion, the BBJ reported Alabama Goods will be opening its third store statewide in Hoover.

Located on the corner of John Hawkins Parkway and Stadium Trace, the new store location is approximately 2500 square feet in size.  Two restaurants and a retail shop are also expected to be located nearby.

“We have been looking for a location for a third store,” added Hartley.”The reason  we selected the site at Stadium Trace is because it is a well planned out development. They have several local restaurants and stores there. We knew that we wanted to be there  plus the demographics in that area were appealing.”
