Birmingham Barons announce 2023 schedule—everything you need to know

The Birmingham Barons announced that their eleventh season at Regions Field will kick off on Friday, April 7 and finish up on Sunday, September 17. Keep reading for all the deets.

Exciting games ahead ⚾

The 2023 schedule will consist of series starting on Tuesdays and ending on Sundays, with a few exceptions like opening weekend and a nine-game stretch after the All-Star break in July.

The Barons will open the season on the road against the Tennessee Smokies on Friday, April 7 – Sunday, April 9 before a home opener against the Rocket City Trash Pandas starting April 11.

Important dates

Barons fans can expect the return of weekly promotions such as T-Shirt Tuesday, Thirsty Thursday, and Friday Fireworks PLUS other themed nights throughout the season. There will also be a few fun holiday games:

• Home games on Mother’s Day, May 14 against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos
• Home games on Father’s Day, June 18 against the Tennessee Smokies
• Multiple firework shows in addition to the annual Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 3
