Slutty Vegan has taken the city by storm. Pinky Cole, owner of Slutty Vegan, got her start in Atlanta selling vegan burgers. The spot blew up and the team decided to take their plant-based shop across state lines to Birmingham. After two years of overcoming obstacles, Slutty Vegan Birmingham finally opened their doors. Their focus? Serving a full-range fast casual style meal without the quinoa and kale.

After a smashing success on opening weekend, it’s clear that Slutty Vegan is a welcome addition. Head to Woodlawn to try it today.

If you’re looking to shop sustainably (and not break the bank on clothes for growing kids) head to Wildflowers Children’s Resale Boutique in Trussville.

It works similarly to most consignment stores—just drop off gently used clothes, toys, shoes, baby gear and accessories for babies and children. They’ll pay you either in cash or store credit for your pieces. Then, use that store credit to find new threads for your kiddos.

4. Cahaba Cycles | Pelham

This comes right after the news of Canopy at Oak Mountain, a new development near the entrance of Oak Mountain State Park.

After 30 years, they are finally getting their upgrade and a sweet new location. I think we can all agree that this rendering looks amazing!
