6 Instagram-worthy bathrooms in Birmingham for your next selfie
Who doesn’t love a cute bathroom selfie? In order to help you with your next photo shoot, we have compiled a list of the cutest, Instagram-worthy bathrooms in Birmingham.
1. Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema
Calling all film fans! Sidewalk Cinema has a The Shining themed bathroom that makes for great pictures. You can check it out any Thursday-Sunday from 2 PM-10 PM or at the Sidewalk Film Festival taking place from August 22-28, 2022.
2. Avenue D Events
Lakeview’s Avenue D Events has five uniquely-decorated bathrooms, so if you’re not feelin’ one, you have four other options! Avenue D is Birmingham’s newest event space and hosts all types of functions, from weddings to comedy nights and fundraisers. Bham Now got to tour, which you can read all about here.
3. Juniper
A cozy cocktail bar in Forest Park, Juniper’s decor was inspired by the Victorian Era, Gilded Age and Art Deco. With a beautiful gallery wall and incredible outdoor space, is anyone surprised the bathrooms are also exquisite? The antique-stained glass detail on the mirror might be my favorite part.
4. Rojo
The murals in Rojo’s robots-and-monkeys-themed bathroom were done by artist John Lytle Wilson, whose art explores themes like nature vs. technology and is inspired in part by Star Wars. These whimsical murals deserve to be seen (and photographed) in person!
5. Frothy Monkey
The Nashville-based Frothy Monkey has a great atmosphere and even better food + coffee, but did you know they also have an extremely aesthetically-pleasing bathroom? They took over the space that used to house Urban Standard and I’d say they’re doing it justice.
6. Trussville Social
Trussville Social isn’t open yet, but the Bham Now team got a preview and Trussville, you’re in for a treat. Not only will Trussville Social have live music five nights a week and all-day Sunday brunch, but they also have absolutely gorgeous bathrooms!
