If you can dance, sing, juggle or make a crowd applaud in amazement, Downtown Birmingham wants you. The newly renovated 20th Street North should be enjoyed, so why not have Birmingham’s talent perform on the street? Downtown Birmingham announced an open call for performers to apply to have The Magic City clap for this talented bunch on Friday evenings from 4-6PM.
Live on North wants to hear from you
Do you have an act you think Birmingham should see? If it can be performed on the street, you should apply to be part of the Live on North performances. Auditioning is as easy as filling out a few questions online. Questions and information include:
- Description of your act
- Name
- Phone number
- Social media
- Type of performance
- Website
You can receive more than applause on 20th Street North
Another good incentive to put your name in the running for the performances is the $100 pay plus tips. Performer rules include:
- Follow the given dates and times of performances
- No drums
- Use provided signage, speakers and tip jar
