From Game of Thrones to How to Train Your Dragon, there’s no denying people of all ages love these magical creatures. Now you can experience them in an all-new way when you visit The Lost World of Dragon’s exhibit. Opening at McWane on June 18, the exhibit explores the histories of these legendary beasts and the cultures that celebrate them. 

During the immersive exhibit, you’ll go on an interactive exploration where you’ll:

  • Discover life-size animatronic dragons
  • Learn about dragon mythology and its origins around the globe
  • Invent your own dragon stories by creating unique, stop-motion animated videos
  • Use your imagination and create your own dragon origin myth with sound and lighting effects
  • And more!

Don’t forget the many photo ops possible throughout the exhibit!

  • Jurassic World Dominion: Experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. With the future of mankind hanging in the balance, find out whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
  • Lightyear: Ever wondered where the famous hero and toy, Buzz Lightyear, came from? Find out in this intergalactic adventure that follows Legendary Space Ranger, Buzz Lightyear, his robot companion Sox and a group of ambitious recruits.
  • Wings Over Water: McWane’s newest educational documentary tells the story of the epic journeys of three amazing bird families—the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler + the Mallard Duck.

5. Home School Lab—Fall 2022 Class

What: Home School STEM Labs are designed to supplement what children learn at home. Registered students can visit McWane to use equipment, take part in experiments and more. Registration begins June 1.
