Run for a cause
It’s in Lake Homes and RealSource’s corporate mission to give back to the community in a hands-on way. Lake Homes Realty COO and RealSource President Doris Phillips founded The Circle of Love Foundation in 2004 to help children in area shelters and others in need.
“I knew what it felt like to be forgotten and vowed to help prevent other children from feeling that way in the future. You never know how something as simple as letting a child know someone cares could affect their future outlook on life.”Doris Phillips, COO of Lake Homes Realty and President of RealSource LLC
To raise money for the foundation, a 5K event is being held soon. Not a fan of running? No worries! Grab your friends and walk the 5K, or pop your headphones in and stroll by yourself. Proceeds from the event will go to paying for school supplies and other necessities for children in local shelters.
