A new Dunkin’ opened on Highway 280 in Hoover this week at the nearly completed Cahaba Market mixed-use development.
Popular in the northeast U.S., Dunkin’ is one of the largest coffee shop/donut shop chains in the world, with over 12,000 stores. Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ is relatively new to Alabama with the first shop opening in Dothan back in 2009.
Near Alabama 119
Close to the Alabama 119 intersection, the new Dunkin’ is the first storefront to debut at Cahaba Market.
As reported by Bham Now in late 2020, the new 12,600-square-foot development will include a mix of retail and eateries. In addition to Dunkin’, confirmed tenants coming soon to the 5415 U.S. 280 location are::
- Anatole’s Bike Shop
- Jersey Mike’s Subs
- My Eyelab
- Five Guys Burgers and Fries
The new Dunkin’ is surrounded by one of the fastest growing retail areas in the Birmingham region. Fueled by the development of Ascension St. Vincent’s 119, the area has witnessed explosive growth, adding a Publix, Walk-ons and numerous other shops within the Hoover – Tattersall Park development.
What’s next? Stay tuned —there is more to come.
