According to USA Today, Edgar’s has one of the best king cakes in the nation, and I believe it (have you tried their strawberry cake?). You can snag a traditional or filled cake with delicious strawberry, cream cheese, or pecan praline filling options. Available for pickup or delivery.

2. Savage’s Bakery

Savage’s is a local favorite for made-from-scratch baked goods. Luckily for us, they also make incredible king cakes. They offer cinnamon or cream cheese filling for their homemade cakes. Order online for pickup or delivery

If you’re looking for authentic king cake straight from New Orleans, this is the bakery for you. You’ll have to order online, but it’s worth the wait—this bakery exclusively makes king cakes.

8. Nawlins Style Po’boys
