The Magic City’s most anticipated international, multi-sport competition will be here soon and is looking for help from you. According to TWG2022 organizers, 3,300 volunteers will be needed to make the event a success.

“This event will take a small army of people to unite and serve a common purpose. The customer service details are almost endless, and our goal is to provide an outstanding experience and memorable moments for our guests and athletes. This experience is our opportunity to celebrate the athletes’ achievements and show the world the new Birmingham. As we come together and get to know one another as citizens and neighbors, the legacy of unity will carry the city forward.”

TWG2022 is an 11-day event that is held every four years with support from the International Olympic Committee—currently being held in our beloved city. The City of Birmingham will host 3,600 international athletes from more than 100 countries.

Did you know that this will be the first time a U.S. city has hosted The World Games since 1981?
