ChopNFresh opened for business at Mountain Brook’s Lane Park on Tuesday, December 14. If you like salads made with fresh ingredients from local farmers and made-from scratch dressings, this is the place for you. Learn more.

2. Hot Off The Press Food Truck

If you haven’t checked out the latest food truck in Trussville, now’s the time. Hot Off The Press opened in November and serves gourmet sandwiches, burgers and quesadillas. 

Most popular items on the menu? The Mash and Prime & Cheddar. Also try the hand-cut fries.

3. Pizza Grace

The wait for Pizza Grace to open at Mercantile on Morris is almost over, everyone. The new eatery opens for biz on January 10.

Bham Now had the chance to give ‘em an early taste test and we discovered it’s totally delicious. 

My fave—the Margherita pizza with marinara, Crave Brothers mozzarella, basil and EVOO. View the menu.

4. Cala Coffee

Good news for coffee fans in Cahaba Heights, because Cala Coffee will open in Summer 2022. 

Cala Coffee Company was founded in February 2021 with a coffee cart offering handcrafted drinks along with an online store. 

Now, this local coffee cart is expanding to its first brick and mortar on Autumn Lane next to Midtown Eat & Drink.

5. 450 Bakery

This small local kitchen is gearing up to pack a big punch in Birmingham in 2022. 450 Bakeshop will feature freshly-made and cooked-to-order items that will satisfy your sweet cravings, like cinnamon rolls and red velvet cookies. Check out their drool-worthy Instagram for future menu items.
