Alabama Adventure reveals new roller coaster coming in 2022 (VIDEO)

The wait is over. Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure released a video on Christmas Day of their new roller coaster.

Earlier this month on Instagram, Bham Now teased you —

Now the big reveal! The name of the new coaster?  Drumroll please…The Cheddar Chase

According to Michael Schwitek, the General Manager of Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure, the new coaster will be: 

  • Over 50 feet tall
  • Over 1,200 feet long 
  • 5 individual trains running on the track 

The roller coaster is a “Wild Mouse” style coaster making it the third roller coaster at the park. The attraction joins the new Rocket Racer and the legendary Rampage — a world class wooden coaster that takes you 120 feet off the ground.
