Here’s what to expect for the new facility
According to a UAB spokesperson, this transaction is part of UAB’s plan to lease the campus back to its affiliate during the new facility’s construction process. The BBJ noted that the existing facility may still be used for mental health care, but exact long-term plans have not been finalized.
