Construction is making headway over at Brock’s Gap Brewing Company. This new two-story brewery will be Hoover’s first brewery and features a space for live music and community events. This new space, owned by Jamie Cato and Michael Blumenthal paired with talented brewmaster Brian Watson, plans to open this winter for all of the fun, holiday brews.

It’s a paw-ty over on Fifth Ave. Top Dog Birmingham just made its debut in early October and is Birmingham’s newest doggy daycare destination. By promoting safe, open play, this new business will put your furry friend in the lap of luxury with grooming, daycare and boarding services.

This is perfect for concerned dog parents wanting their dog to socialize, stretch their legs or just get some extra attention during the day. Look to board at Top Dog Birmingham during the holidays for those places you can’t bring your four-legged pal. Ready to book? Head to their booking page to find out how.

We are finally getting a sneak peek at Encore Rouge and it does not disappoint. This new Southside spot will be serving some of the best food around and is coming so soon, according to their Instagram. With a variety of pastas, burgers, wings, and fries, this place serves gourmet food with a Cajun twist.

We are on the edge of our seats with anticipation. Want to catch them earlier for a taste of what they’re serving up? Check out their food truck—they share their location on Instagram every day. We’ll be sure to give you all of the details on the brick and mortar location as they come.

It’s our pleasure to write about the hottest new businesses coming to town—and we want to let you know that the Chick-Fil-A in Cahaba Heights is now open for business. Under the local leadership of Jerry Cotney, this new location opened Thursday, November 18 and features immaculate service as always.

This location currently operates as drive thru only and features the same classics you all know and love. We had to try it opening day and the chicken biscuit did not disappoint. In leu of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, they are donating the free meals to local heroes in the Cahaba Heights area and giving a $25,000 donation to Feeding America. We love to support local, and national brands making a difference locally is truly the cherry on top (of a Chick-Fil-A peppermint milkshake).
