Evan Riley was discovered on a trip to Nashville back in March 2021. After performing at Tootsie’s and Kid Rock’s, she caught the eye of a local music producer, and the rest is history.

This fall, Evan and her mother, Heather, have been commuting between Nashville and Birmingham for recording sessions. She finished a total of 8 songs for her Christmas EP.

A family affair

Evan can thank her parents for more than their unwavering support and rides to Music City—they also provided backup vocals! That’s right, this Christmas EP is a family affair.

Keep an ear out for Heather on a few of the tracks, and don’t miss an extra special song that features all four members of the family.

“Heather and I are so proud of Evan Riley. She works so hard every day on her singing and guitar lessons. We are so excited to be able to listen to a CD of her at just 8 years old. Evan Riley and Heather put a lot of time in on this project and we can’t wait to hear it!”

The first two songs will be released on Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving Day), just in time to kick-off the holiday season….sounds like the perfect decorating soundtrack to me.

The songs will be available on Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

What’s next?

Evan will continue to practice her music over the next few months. If you want to catch a live performance, she’ll be performing the National Anthem at the UAB game on Tuesday, November 9 vs. UNC Asheville.

Keep an eye on her Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages, too. We can’t wait to watch this Birmingham native soar!
