They start things off with a bang with Bandaloop—an unbelievable aerial performance with dancers suspended from rooftops high above. Check out two free performances on Friday, September 24 at the UAB Campus Green at Noon and at the Alys Stephens Center (register to attend here) at 8PM. Find more ways to celebrate here. 

Time for some “pampering”

The Junior League of Birmingham holds their 7th annual Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive, Friday, September 24-Sunday, October 3. Your donation helps provide hope to families during times of financial hardship by providing infants and toddlers with diapers. Find out what you can donate. Donations can be dropped off below the Target Shopping Center on Highway 280.

There’s no time to siesta when there’s a fiesta!

Mark your calendar for Fiesta’s 19th Annual Festival on Saturday, September 25 for a chance to explore dozens of Hispanic countries through food, crafts, culture and family fun. The event takes place at Linn Park from Noon-8PM. Tickets are $10. Kids 12 + under get in free.

Think breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Then eat up this Sunday, September 26—it’s National Breakfast Day. Check out this new local food truck for a Bangin’ Breakfast. 

Show off those nerves of teal 

Show your support for GYN Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the Head Over Teal 5K/10K on Saturday, September 25 at 8AM at The Preserve in Hoover. Your involvement will help raise awareness and funds to provide GYN cancer programs to women, patients and caregivers. Register now.
