We know Jefferson County loves electronics recycling and paper shredding days. We’ve seen the long lines of cars waiting to drop of all those old computers, cell phones and bags of paper. To learn just where all those things go, we went behind the scenes. Here’s what we discovered and what you need to know for the upcoming event on Saturday, October 9.

Where do the electronics and paper go?

It was so much fun for us to see Protec Recycling’s West Homewood warehouse where all the electronics go, and where they bring the paper for shredding. We also loved meeting Danny Skinner, the man behind the operation.
