Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (MPT) ranks as one of the best places to work for Millennials. Modern Healthcare’s 2021 Best Places to Work announced this celebratory news yesterday, and we couldn’t be more excited for this Birmingham-based company. Read on for the rundown.

Award-winning magazine, Modern Healthcare, partnered with the Best Companies Group to find the best place to work for Millennials. Through an assessment process, which included an extensive employee survey, Modern Healthcare + Best Companies Group found their crown jewel companies.

Medical Properties Trust—healthcare real estate in the heart of Birmingham

MPT started in Birimingham in 2003. This self-advised real estate investment firm “allows operators of hospitals to unlock the value of their real estate assets to fund facility improvements, technology upgrades and other investments in operations.”

Since its inception, the company has grown into one of the best networks of hospital-owners with roughly 440 facilities across nine countries and four continents. You heard it here first Birmingham, MPT is a big deal.
