Saw’s is a Birmingham staple, so we don’t blame you for skipping out on watching the grill and grabbing takeout for the crew. Not feeling ribs? The brisket and the chicken sandwich are a great alternative.

5. Moe’s Original BBQ

I definitely went through a phase where I was addicted to the smoked turkey sandwich from Moe’s. I’m sure I’m not alone. In addition to their smoked meat options, they have an amazing selection of sides that will appeal to the whole family’s taste buds.

4. Full Moon BBQ

Full Moon is geared up for tailgate season, so you may as well get a head start by ordering your Labor Day spread to sample everything. I know we’re focused on the BBQ, but you have to try the cookies for dessert. FYI: They are very addictive, so proceed with caution.

6. Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ

If you’re looking to add a bit of variety to your Labor Day celebration, look no further than Jim ‘N Nicks. You can get enough to feed a small family, or get a full spread catered for an event. Of course, we can’t forget to mention their legendary cheese biscuits are the perfect complement to any meal.

7. Bob Sykes Bar B Q
