The Literacy Council hosts their crowd-favorite Kickin’ Chicken fundraiser on Saturday, August 28. This year’s event is virtual, so hit the couch from 5-6PM for an evening of entertainment, stories about the lives changed through this incredible organization, plus a few surprises. Watch + Donate.

On Saturday, August 28, tune in to United Ability’s virtual event, Journey of Hope. Streamed live from the Red Mountain Theatre Arts Campus, enjoy an evening of honorees, performances and a silent auction. Tune in to the pre-show at 5:45PM, or catch the live program at 6PM. Run for the 140 million
Take to the racecourse on Saturday, August 28 for the Lifeline R(un) for One 5K. The goal: to provide for the needs of the 140 million unadopted children around the world. The race takes place at Veteran’s Park in Hoover. Register now.
