Birmingham’s Eat in the Streets is fast approaching, and there are several fun events lined up throughout August! See how you can enjoy your favorite restaurant’s dining exprience while social distancing—keep reading for all the details!
Eat in the Streets continues in the fall
After the food festivals’ impressive popularity last year, organizers have set up several new events throughout August to meet the high demand.
The locations include:
- Avondale
- The Pizitz
- Pepper Place
- Downtown Birmingham
Don’t forget to bring your family, friends and appetite because you are in for a treat.
Avondale
The takeover begins with a two-day event this Friday, August 6 from 5-10PM and Saturday, August 7 from 11AM-9PM in Avondale.
Participating restaurants will include:
- Avondale Brewing Co.
- Avondale Burger Co.
- Luna 41st St Pub
- Melt
- Spring Street Grill
- Avondale Common House
- Cookie Dough Magic
- Saw’s Soul Kitchen
- Post Office Pies
Catch some of your local faves this evening on 41st Street South between First Avenue South and Third Avenue South.
The Pizitz
Grab a bite to eat inside the Pizitz Food Hall and enjoy it outdoors on 19th Street North between First Avenue North and Second Avenue North on Saturday, August 14. The times are from 10AM to 10PM— check out Art Crawl while you’re there.
Pepper Place
Pepper Place returns to the Eat in the Streets action Friday, August 20 from 5 to 9PM. Tables and seating will be available on 29th Street South between Second Avenue South and Third Avenue South.

Downtown Birmingham
Eat in the Streets’ August takeover ends on Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28 on 20th Street North between First Avenue North and Third Avenue North.
The culinary fun will be held from 5 to 10PM on Friday and 10AM to 10PM on Saturday. Participating restaurants include:
