1. Golden Boy Pizza
Affectionately named after their golden retriever, Fitzpatrick, Golden Boy Pizza is officially Birmingham’s newest pizza truck.
Coming later this summer, Golden Boy will serve naturally leavened Neapolitan style pizzas and has sweet and savory pizzas for every pizza lover out there.
2. Eighty Eight
It’s time to pull out those high heels from the back of your closet and come on down to Eighty Eight, Birmingham’s newest piano bar.
This upscale Five Points bar opened on July 31 and is the perfect place for a drink and a night of live music. Pro-tip: be sure to reserve a table in advance for a tip-top night.
3. Unless U Scoops
Can confirm: getting ice cream is never a bad decision. Unless U, the organization devoted to serving adults with developmental disabilities, is opening an ice cream shop run by students to teach confidence through vocational training in a work environment that is both fun + safe.
