Last month, we learned that Birmingham would soon be getting its very first “rage room”. Luckily for us, owners Alex Miller and David Sanders reached out and invited us to test out the facility this week. Here’s an inside look at the all-new Birmingham Rage Room!

Our Trip Was A “Smashing” Success

As you can tell from the video, we had an absolute blast at the Birmingham Rage Room. Located in Lakeview, the rage room is just a short walk from one of the hottest new entertainment district in Birmingham.

But before we could start smashin’, we had to make sure we were up to the Birmingham Rage Room’s safety standards. Turns out, it’s generally not safe to stand among flying shards of glass without protection. Luckily, the Birmingham Rage Room had everything we needed to gear up.

Once we were suited up, it was time to smash. We brought a couple of big items (a broken TV and cassette deck player) and the Birmingham Rage Room let us smash as many glass bottles as our hearts desired.

Here are All the Details

  • Address: 2616 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233

While the Birmingham Rage Room doesn’t officially open until later this month, I reached out to the owners to learn more about what future guests can expect in terms of pricing, hours, group sizes and more. Keep in mind, these details may be subject to change as we get closer to the grand opening!

In terms of group size, the Birmingham Rage Room is limiting size to 6 persons per room. Currently, the rage room will only be open to guests 19 years of age or older.

The Birmingham Rage Room’s pricing model is designed to be highly customizable, able to fit just about any group’s ideal experience:

  • $15 per person + $1/minute + the cost of breakables

But smashing isn’t the only thing in the works at the Birmingham Rage Room. Stay tuned, because the team has a ton of awesome activities lined up, such as:

  • Outdoor games — Nerf wars, extreme dodgeball, water wars (water balloons and guns) and archery tag.
  • Splatter rooms — A room where you can throw paint on the walls, your friends AND a giant canvas to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

We’re SO excited to see the Birmingham Rage Room open this month! Be sure to tag @bhamnow with all your slow-motion videos!
