A Birmingham original, Revelator Coffee has been named the 12th most popular coffee roaster and coffee shop in the U.S. by the national storytelling digital publication Far & Wide.

Revelator, which has two local coffee shops in downtown Birmingham and Lane Parke in Mountain Brook was featured in the Far & Wide “best” list story titled:

Here is what they had to say:

“Sometimes, it seems that the West Coast and the Northeast have all the coffee roasting action going on. The Revelator Coffee Company proves that that’s not really the case.

The company has been bringing specialty coffee to the Southeast for a relatively short time, but that hasn’t stopped it from becoming well-known within the region and the coffee world at large. Their stores usually have a clean, minimalist aesthetic, inviting people to come in and focus on enjoying each other’s company and a great cup of coffee.”

Far and Wide

In the past couple of years the national publication has profiled and honored several beloved Birmingham businesses including: Miss Myra Pit Bar-B-Q, Five Bar, and Dos Hermanos Taco Truck.

Here is a list of Bham Now stories about the honors:
